Cozy restaurant, very nice and attentive service. The Franconian wedding dinner (beef in horseradish sauce) really has a "bite" here, while elsewhere it is often just a soft cream sauce. However, in times of the Corona there was quite close contact with the other guests. Therefore only 4 stars at first, after Corona definitely five.

Best economy in Kulmbach! The hosts are incredibly warm, the staff on their toes and the food is absolutely fantastic. Reservation is recommended.

Food was super delicious, atmosphere was great

Rustic small and traditional pub in the historic old town of the large district town of Kulmbach. If you want to enjoy Franconian food in Kulmbach, you have to stop by here. Whether the Sunday roast or the crispy schnitzel (my favorite - the duo), the kitchen always delivers the highest quality. But be careful! You have to be quick, because the Zunftstube is small and therefore often full - you should reserve in good time. In an emergency, you can also order the dishes to take away. The hospitality of the hostess should also be emphasized. For me the number one of the Franconian kitchens in the Kulmbacher Land!

Frankish cuisine at its best! The quaint restaurant is always worth a visit. I recommend making reservations though as there aren't that many seats and sometimes you should bring a bit more time as it can take a little longer, but it's definitely worth the wait.

The food here is delicious, the dumplings better than in Thuringia and everything at a great price. And the Zoigel beer is awesome !!! We have already been here twice (we come from Thuringia) and will definitely be back!

We were lucky that we got a table without a reservation. Otherwise we would have missed the best sauerbraten and Schäufela in Kulmbach and probably also in the surrounding area. 2 other local nearby can't keep up. The service is very friendly and the price is ok. At Kulmbach we now think of the guild room.

It is so good, we never seem to eat anywhere else. Best food in Kulmbach (probably!).

Very welcoming staff and guest, after looking at what was served around the tables i was really sad i just had eaten. It all looked amazingly tasty! The beer is of course local and is top quality. I hope I will have the chance to come back and eat myself though their menu one time in the future. Thank you very much for a really good service!

Cosy restaurant with typical Bavarian food. Decent prices and very, very friendy staff. Meal was served not too long and not too fast after ordering, just perfect in time. Taste of the food was really good and ingredients seemed very fresh!

Small but fine restaurant in the center of Kulmbach. Especially recommended as a strengthening of the castle hike. There are enough places inside and outside. But you should reserve or dodge the marginal times. Service fast and friendly. The crispy schnitzel for 9,80 € is worth every penny and above all sufficient.

Very pleasant restaurant with friendly and fast service. The dishes are delicious and generously portioned - you should be hungry. Small dishes are also on the menu for children.
